Accounts Executive (Ipoh, Perak)

Job Responsibilities:

• To assist in the preparation of financial statements for Soon Lian Huat Holding Group of Companies, compliance to all SST and E-invoice related matters, processing/keying in accounting transactions, carry out administrative and clerical tasks related to the maintenance of the AutoCount system, preparing year-end audit, taxation and stock take matters in accurate manner.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts for Soon Lian Huat Holdings group of companies comprising the following:-
  1. Profit and loss
  2. Balance sheet
  3. Cash flow statements
  4. Changes in Equity statements
  5. Notes to the accounts
• To provide clerical and administrative support to ensure timely and accurate filing of SST returns, E-invoice and the necessary reporting to be generated.
• To assist in keying in day-to-day accounting transactions and preparation of journal vouchers with supporting documents.
• Assist with the maintenance of Autocount system (including chart of accounts) to ensure system is up to date with current business practices/processes and is running efficiently.
• Assist with the collation/preparation of information and ensure proper filing of supporting documents for external auditors and tax agents.
• Assist with the year-end stock take preparations and partake in physical stock take.
• To cooperate and work in harmony within the different divisions in the Finance Department and with other departments in the Group by providing all necessary assistance and support needed.
• To assist in any other duties and responsibilities for the preparation of any other reports and submissions as may be required from time to time.

Experience and Qualification Required:

• Must possess a Certificate in Higher Accounting (minimum)/ Degree Holder.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Computer literate and well versed with Microsoft Office Applications.

Assistant Quality Control Supervisor (Ipoh, Perak)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely completion of all assigned quality control activities including daily inspection of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products throughout the entire manufacturing process.
• Conduct testing on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products in accordance with policies and standards set.
• Immediately report any detected non-confirming products to the supervisor, facilitating corrective actions to salvage defective items and minimize production waste.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control tests, inspections and outcomes to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure that all products and processes comply with industry regulations, customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Identify areas for process improvements and work with the production team to implement changes that enhance product quality and efficiency.

10. Production Scheduling
    1. Optimize production capacity in relation to finished goods inventory requirement and marketing requirement. Assure minimal back order status and adequate service levels through close liaison among business/ sales/ production/ inventory control and materials management personnel.
11. Employee Relations
    1. Provides positive employee relations environment to ensure the achievement of productivity objectives and maintenance of high morale and motivation at all levels within the workforce.
12. Technical Specification and Compliance
    1. To ensure technical specifications or standards for equipments and machineries are compliance with the policies and Statutory’s requirements of the Company. To co-ordinate and execute technical activities with the Consulting Engineers, suppliers and contractors by ensuring specifications and standards are met.
13. Safety, Health and Environment
    1. To ensure the safety and environmental issues of the Company are in compliance with the Statutory regulations.

Maintenance Supervisor (Ipoh, Perak)

Job Responsibilities:

• To plan, direct and co-ordinate the work of technicians in the development, installation and commission, maintenance of repair of equipments and machineries in the plant.
• To assist the Senior Maintenance Supervisor and lead the maintenance team ie planning and executing jobs in the ‘Planned Maintenance System’ for the plant to reduce unexpected breakdowns and downtimes of machinery.
• To ensure technical specifications or standards for equipments and machineries are compliance with the policies and Statutory’s requirements of the Company.
• To plan and recommend pro-active maintenance systems by way of repairs, replacement to optimize the utilization of equipments and machineries to the Company.
• To train, develop, coach and motivate the subordinate staff to perform according to set standards to enhance the productivity of the team.
• To ensure the safety and environmental issues of the Company are in compliance with the Statutory regulations.
• To ensure appropriate records of the Company are updated at all times e.g. machine downtime / utilities meter reading, etc.
